Review Policy

All manuscripts submitted to the Journal for Security Management with Engineering Application (JSME) undergo a double-blind peer review process.

The review procedure includes the following stages:

  1. Initial Screening: Editors perform an initial evaluation of each submission to ensure it fits the journal’s scope and meets basic quality and formatting standards.

  2. Peer Review: Each paper is reviewed by at least two independent reviewers with relevant academic or professional expertise (PhD required).

  3. Anonymity: Reviewers do not have access to the authors’ identities, and authors do not know the reviewers’ identities.

  4. Evaluation Criteria: Reviews focus on originality, relevance, scientific contribution, clarity, and methodological accuracy.

  5. Decisions: Based on reviewers’ recommendations, the editorial board decides whether the paper is accepted, revised, or rejected.

  6. Timelines: The average review cycle is up to 3 months.
     – Minor revisions: 20 days
     – Major revisions: 45 days

  7. Final Decision: The Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision on acceptance.

All reviewers are expected to maintain confidentiality, provide objective feedback, and disclose any potential conflicts of interest.
