Publication Ethics
The Journal for Security Management with Application (JSME) follows high ethical standards in all stages of the publishing process.
Authors, reviewers, and editors are expected to act with integrity, transparency, and accountability.
Authors must ensure that submitted papers are original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere. Proper citation of all sources is mandatory.
Reviewers should provide objective and confidential evaluations, avoiding any conflict of interest.
Editors are responsible for fair and unbiased editorial decisions based solely on the academic merit of the submitted work.
The journal applies anti-plagiarism checks for all submissions and follows international ethical publishing principles.
The journal follows the COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) standards.
Editor Responsibilities: fairness, confidentiality, avoidance of conflict of interest, correction/retraction when needed.
Reviewer Responsibilities: objectivity, confidentiality, timely responses, proper citation recommendations, disclosure of conflicts.
Author Responsibilities: originality, accurate data presentation, proper citations, ethical compliance (human/animal studies), disclosure of funding/conflict of interest, response to reviewer comments.
Use of AI Tools: authors must disclose the use of generative AI (e.g., ChatGPT) in the Acknowledgements section. AI cannot be listed as a co-author.
